"Steve Jobs" 김무영 10월 에세이 역사, 철학

Steve Jobs 金珷榮 에세이 Kimmooyoung

Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 as the son of Joanne Sibble, but was adopted by Paul Jobs and Clarea Hegodak because of their father's opposition. The fact that Jobs was abandoned and adopted by his parents played a major role in shaping his identity. Jobs reacted sharply when he called the Jobs couple " adoptive parents" or said they were not real parents. On the other hand, I didn't like it when I mentioned my biological parents. Jobs once said of his adoptive parents, "They're my parents 1,000 percent," while he also said of their biological parents, "They're my sperm and egg banks." Jobs' biological parents grew up with his father, Joan Siblo, who was a devout Catholic, when he visited Syria with Jandali in the summer of 1954, but the threat of his father marrying Jandalie made him decide to adopt him and live in San Francisco. Sibble believed the child should be adopted by a couple with a college diploma or higher, but signed the adoption document when Jobs, a high school dropout couple, wrote a pledge to send the child to college. Sibble believed that his then critically ill father would be able to get his child back if he married after closing his eyes, but only after 20 years because the adoption process was kept secret. Sibble's father died a few weeks after the adoption process ended, after which Sibble and Jandalie successfully get married. Jandalie left for Syria after graduation, but she didn't feel happy, so she went back to Green Bay and lived with her daughter, Mona Simpson. His adoptive parents, Paul Reinhold Jobs, grew up in Jerman Town, Wisconsin, and had a gentle and gentle personality. After dropping out of high school, he worked as a mechanic, and when he was nineteen, he enlisted in the Coast Guard and was recognized as a mechanic. Clara Hégón was the foster mother of Steve Jobs, the daughter of an Armenian immigrant in New Jersey, and had a sweet disposition. She had a secret past, the fact that she married Paul Jobs before she met him, but her husband went to war and died. Paul Jobs and Clara Hegodak met Paul Jobs because of a bet with his colleagues when he was discharged from the Coast Guard, and became engaged in March 1946. Mr. and Mrs. Jobs had a happy life, but Clare couldn't have children, so they decided to adopt a child in 1955, and named him Steven Paul Jobs. Mr. and Mrs. Jobs revealed their adoption when they were young, and gave much relief to the confused Jobs. Jobs was a juvenile delinquent who often skipped school in elementary school. The high-heel teacher, who was Jobs' senior class teacher, barely had a school life of being coaxed by money, makes a sudden change when he gets an amateur electronics kit called HISKIT. Thanks to the kit, he learned how to operate electronics from an early age. Jobs attended Cupertino Middle School and Homestead High School in Cupertino, California, when he was 12 years old, he called Bill Hewlett, CEO of Hewlett-Packard Co., and asked if he could give him any spare parts. Bill Hewlett agreed, and eventually Jobs attended after-school classes at Hewlett Packard in Palo Alto, where he was hired temporarily for the summer with Steve Wozniak. 1972 at Reed College. He dropped out after just one semester, and returned to California in 1974 to work in Atari. Later, Wozniak's advice was to join the Homebrook Computer Club. Since its inception, Jobs has unveiled the first personal computer, Apple1, developed by Steve Wozniak, at a club named the Homebrook Computer Club. Apple 1 had no monitors and had a tough design, but it succeeded in selling it with an unexpected big reaction and, thanks to that, it unveiled its shares in 1980. In 1984, the company launched Apple Lisa with a graphical user interface against IBM. However, hardware and software failed because they were too expensive, and the Macintosh project was more expensive than rival IBM. And the lack of application software also led to another failure. This was a big event that caused most people around the world to use PCs. Eventually, Jobs was removed from the Apple management front line in 1985 by John Scully. After leaving Apple, he set up Next to develop the world's first object-oriented operating system, Next Step, and in 1986, he took over a computer graphics company directed by George Lucas, who needed funds for divorce. Jobs changed his company name to Pixar and invested $60 million over a decade to develop it into one of Hollywood's top animation companies. Pixar has won several Oscars in short animation, followed by a huge success with the first feature-length 3D animation "Toy story" and is now merged into Disney. Then in 1997, Next was taken over by Apple and at the same time he returned to Apple. In July of that year, he returned to Apple as CEO, earning nearly $400 million in a single year from a $1 billion deficit in 1997. Steve Jobs' health deteriorated in the 2000s and underwent pancreatic cancer surgery in 2004. Afterwards, he quickly deteriorated and resigned as CEO of Apple in August of the same year, and died on October 5, 2011 at the age of 56 due to pancreatic cancer.
